Applescript Tutorial
(Posted: April 26th, 2010 | Author: Adam Morris | Filed under: | No Comments »)What Applescript does is lets users get behind a remote control and push software program’s buttons. It also does lots of other things, but that is its killer use.
Now, the thing is, it’s hard to get your head around it. It’s because it’s implemented as an almost full-on, nearly hard-core, not-quite-there programming language. Which makes it extremely functional and customizable, but as powerful as it is learning it is a major pain in the rear. Because following chains of logic isn’t something you necessarily want to be doing during your spare time. Plus, once you have actually learned it, you want a lot more.
But, make no mistake. This is worth learning. I’ve given my own stab at teaching it through the following pages available below.
